Resting Below the Reef

Blu peeked a little closer.

The Nurse Shark was not swimming now. It rested peacefully on the sand beneath the shelter of the reef.

Nurse Sharks often spend much of the daytime beneath coral ledges and rocky overhangs, where they can remain calm and protected.

Blu stayed quiet and watched from a respectful distance.

“What a peaceful place,” Blu whispered.
