A Quiet Invitation

The turtle did not hurry, and neither did Blu.

He stayed far enough behind to let his new friend choose the way. The turtle dipped one flipper, turned beside the wall, and looked almost as if it were saying, “Follow me.”

Blu knew that chasing would spoil the moment. So he matched the turtle’s calm rhythm and waited to see what came next.
